Dear Atlantic Umbrella,

I just would like to say a big thank you to the entire Atlantic team for their support. As you may remember when I joined Atlantic I had only been contracting for 6 months, and the choice to go contracting had not really been mine.
Six months on contracting we had our first meeting. By that point, I was well disillusioned with my experience, I never knew if and when I was going to be paid and my umbrella company was no use at all.....
This soon changed for the better when I started with Atlantic.

The web site is great, the text alert extremely useful. Every time I phone in, or email in the team is very supportive and always assist me with any of my queries. Recently I was discussing my move with Hannah and she was full of suggestions, so when calling it really feels like I am having proper conversations with colleagues that know who I am and also know me and want to help me rather than talking to an agent who has no interest in getting to know their clients.

Since joining Atlantic I have really started enjoying contracting, got given plenty of advice by your team on how to make contracting work for me, get a rate raise etc....and all has worked wonders for me in the last 15 months.Thanks again to all.

As I am about to leave contracting, I would just like to take this opportunity to give a testimonial.

Atlantic Umbrella have been exceptionally helpfull throughout. The team are well trained and never tire of explaining the same thing over and over to the non - financially minded like myself. Atlantic have never failed to pay expenses or salary on time and their guidance to waht I can claim as a contractor is second to none.

This is particularly prevelant when my contract came up for renewal and I was contacted by an umbrella company who are now no longer in existence....) They said they could get me more for my money and that I could claim for expenses I did not actually incurr. After speaking to the boss - Jonathon I think, he informed me that certain companies are unscrupulous in their promises and could land contractors in the preverbial you know what. I took Jonathon's advice and stayed with Atlantic.

I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending the team at Atlantic and if I ever return to contracting it goes without saying I will be employing your services.

So, thanks to yourself Salina, Jonathon, Cheri, Russell, Joshua, Tamara, Mary and Dave Kent for his financial advice (and anyone else who I have missed but have had the pleasure trying to interpret my Scots accent and explaing things 10 times over to me!)

When I was looking for an umbrella firm, I must have spoken to a dozen of them over the space of 48 hours. After speaking to Dave Kent he pretty much made my mind up for me - there really wasn’t any competition. Dear Jonathan

I wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know how pleased I am to have found Atlantic.

You have consistently backed up your claims that Atlantic offers a far superior service (at less than half the fee) of my previous umbrella company.

I find the detail reporting features of Atlantic's consultant web site to be especially useful in providing visibility on the movement of invoices, salary, expenses, bank payments, etc. The online expense dispensation system is also fantastic and a big time saver as it eliminates the need to FAX volumes of receipts each month.

Each member of your staff I have interacted with is on the ball, available to answer the phone, and eager to help. It sure is great to be able to call and get what I need without having to chase people around with multiple emails or voice mails and getting mostly attitude in return.

I could go on but it will suffice for me to say that working with Atlantic has been an absolute pleasure and a complete turnaround from the nightmare that was my previous umbrella company.

I wanted to write to you (and I'll leave it up to you how (if!) you disseminate this) to express my gratitude and appreciation for the efforts of Caz and Cheri in particular within the Atlantic business (together with your other colleagues (and yourself, naturally)).

Never having been involved in umbrella company type arrangements before they've made life a lot easier for me and helped me to get over the first few weeks of this contract with the minimum of possible fuss. Were it not the case that it might be misconstrued (not least by my beloved!) I'd have arranged for roses to be delivered!

Everyone at Atlantic always actions things incredibly fast and Cheri in particular has been super-efficient this week - I asked for a letter confirming income yesterday and had a soft-copy within the hour! My last request for a letter confirming employment was also sent to me with lightening speed. These are the little things that make the difference between average and outstanding service, and make a company stand out.

After the service levels I experienced with my last company, Atlantic's expedience is greatly appreciated.
