Atlantic passed HMRC audit with flying colours

The question of compliance amongst Umbrella companies has become so important to HMRC that they now have a dedicated team with a remit of auditing the operations of all Umbrella Companies.

These audits have highlighted to HMRC that not all Umbrella companies are operating at the required level of compliance and competence.

This month Atlantic invited the audit team to our offices.  

Having passed the requirements of the audit with flying colours, we are delighted to announce that the allowances which we claim on behalf of our contractors have actually been INCREASED.

So impressed were the HMRC team with our robust and compliant procedures that they have increased, our dispensation for subsistence claims to:

Daily Breakfast Subsistence (leaving home before 07.00am)    £5.50
Daily Off Site Subsistence (working more than 5 hours per day)    £7
Daily Evening Meals Subsistence    £16.50
(working more than 10 hours per day, with receipt for evening meal)
